When injected, neuromodulators (or also known as neurotoxins) temporarily intercept the connection between nerve and muscle. As a result, the skin that overlays the muscle is prevented from creasing. With consistent treatments, treated muscles can also dwindle in size and force, leading to a slimmed, tightened appearance.

We carry three different neuromodulator brands. All FDA-approved neurotoxins are derived from a bacteria, Clostridium Botulinum, type A. Determining the right brand for you will be based on your prior history and response to neuromodulators, the dosing required, as well as your personal preference. Further information can be provided during the consultation.

Although no treatment is completely pain-free, we do ensure that our products are mixed (or reconstituted) with a specific diluent that mitigates pain when injecting. Some areas may be more sensitive than others, including the crow’s feet and the lip area. However, no anesthetic will be needed during the procedure.
